I spent more than four years working at Mother Jones magazine, where I produced some of the site’s top-trafficked articles.
I interviewed former employees at Rep. Lauren Boebert’s gun-themed restaurant in Rifle, Colorado; profiled mobile home residents who reclaimed their properties from the hands of private equity; and investigated a new technology that could end drunk driving for good. I am a reporter by training, but I bring a strong personal voice and a flair for the offbeat to everything I write.
I also produced newsletters, breaking news posts, pop culture blogs, Q&As, social media copy, and short form video scripts.
In 2025, I earned a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. I wrote my thesis on women’s witchcraft in 17th- and 18th-century colonial Mexico.
I graduated summa cum laude from New York University in 2019 with dual degrees in Journalism and Spanish.
In my free time, I enjoy any activity that gets me outside, be it running, cycling, camping, backpacking, or simply staring into my backyard compost bin.
I have been blogging since 2011, first on Tumblr, then on Substack. Check out my clips, or drop me a line.
